What is Global Money Line?

Global money line is an online ‘lead’ generation program.

What is a lead?lead

In online marketing jargon, a ‘lead’ is simply a potential customer.

For example, imagine you’re walking down the street and somebody offers you a flier advertising a window cleaning company.

You are a ‘lead’ since you are now a POTENTIAL future customer.

Whether or not you decide to go with the company isn’t important in this context, simply the fact that you are now in a position where you MIGHT do makes you a lead.

Now it is almost an identical process when you move online. Instead of being handed a physical leaflet, you might get an email from a company, or click on their ad from YouTube.

Once you’ve been introduced to their services or clicked on their link, you’re a lead.

So, as an internet marketer, THE most important part of your business is to create leads.

A lead is the No.1 thing online marketers want. Without leads there is no way for them to make any money. If you have no potential customers, you have no potential income.

Where do you find leads?

This is where Global Money Line comes in. Usually, most people will work on generating leads through three main ways.

Organic traffic; ranking in Google Search for keywords.

Paid traffic; creating ads that appear in search results.

Or social media marketing; using Facebook or Instagram to engage and influence with followers.

All of these above methods take a lot of time and effort.

Global Money Line claims to be a way of generating leads without going through all of these hassles, for free.

How does it work?

When you create an account at Global Money Line, you are automatically put into a ‘money line’ (hence the name). Think of it like a queue for a rollercoaster.

When you sign up, you join the queue. Anyone who signs up AFTER you is now behind you in the queue.

Imagine you have a handful of leaflets, and you started passing them back to all the people stood in line behind you.

The longer you stand in line, the more people there are ‘beneath’ you that you can influence, and in turn the more potential leads you can make.

This is how the money line works. Once you join, you join a digital queue or line, and you can send a message to anyone who joins up after you.

Right now, there are 2155 people after me in my money line.

In theory, I can message every one of these people. That means there are 2155 potential leads that I could convert into sales.

Of course, it isn’t as easy as that, which is what we’ll be discussing later. The big question is, can you really make leads using Global Money Line or not?

Signing up/joining

Global Money Line gets off to a rocky start with a complicated sign up process. When you go on the homepage, you notice a message saying something along the lines of this ‘Global Money Line is INVITE ONLY’.

That means you can only join the program if somebody that is involved in it invites you.

So how are you meant to get invited?

For me, a friend of mine invited me but it might be different for you. You might not know a single person using this program.

If that is the case, here’s how to get an invite.

Head over to (this is the friend who invited me). On his menu will be a button that reads ‘top recommendations’. When you hover over this you can see a drop down menu that includes ‘money line’.tony-hamilton

Once you click on Money Line, you will be taken to a sign up page. This time you CAN sign up.

It’s been tough to get to this point, but from here it is pretty simple. Just enter your Gmail address and you will be directed through opening your account.

Fortunately, Global Money Line is a free service and you don’t have to enter any credit card details.

Once you have your account setup you should be ready to start giving Global Money Line a go. Let’s talk about how!

I personally found Money Line very ‘clunky’ to use for a while. I was put off by the unusual design and unprofessional feel.

However when it came down to it, the main function of Global Money Line was actually quite simple to understand and use.

You just have to click on ‘your moneyline’.

This will take you to a page with lots of messages in a row. These messages are from people who are in front of you in the money line (they are ‘ahead‘ of you in the queue).

You can just scroll past these until you see a box that says ‘message area’. Here you can type in your promotion (keep it short). For example, a typical message might say something like:

‘learn how to boost your income from 2k a month to 20k!’

This is your chance to ‘grab’ leads with captivating and engaging messages. Once you have your message (and a link which you can add to it) you can send it out.

As a free member, you can send your message to one person at a time. I found this to be really annoying. You would send your message, wait while the page reloaded, scroll back down to the message area, re paste your message and send it again.

You then have to repeat this for as many times as you want, but it gets pretty tiring after a while. Usually I would send out between 10 and 50 messages at a time.

This is where the ‘upsells’ come in. As a PAYING member of Global Money Line, you can send a message to 500 people at a time. While this definitely saves you a lot of time, I’m not sure whether it’s worth it.

Why not?

Well, think about why you joined Money Line. You joined to promote to OTHER people. You didn’t join to click on the promotions sent to you.

When you send out your messages, 99% of the people beneath you will completely ignore it.

I haven’t seen any positive results as of yet from it, but that doesn’t mean it’s a complete scam. Maybe I’m wrong and becoming a paying member will generate you leads, I don’t know!

However, my personal feeling on ANY online service is this:

If the FREE version doesn’t offer you anything of any real value, DON’T upgrade to the paid version.

For example, in my Wealthy Affiliate review I mention that I think the free version has huge value and is a great service. Because I got so much good service for free, I was happy to upgrade to a paid version.

On the other hand, I didn’t feel that way with Money Line.

That doesn’t mean it’s a SCAM or doesn’t work. It might well be a great lead generator; it just didn’t impress me enough.

It really was as simple as that.

Free to use:free

Unlike some other sites, you don’t need to input your card details to Global Money Line in order to get started. This is a very good way of ensuring people feel safe using this platform, and is definitely one of the reasons Money Line is NOT a scam.

Easy to use:

Sure, it might be tiring, but it isn’t complicated or tough to figure out. You can just keep on sending out messages for as long as you want.

Potential to get leads:

While I haven’t seen much great results from this program, I still think the idea is a good one. Perhaps you just need to dedicate more time to it.

Getting in line now could pay off in the future:

Even though Money Line hasn’t taken off globally as of now, it might in the future. Since it’s free to create an account, you might as well sign up and get in the ‘queue’. Even if you don’t use your account, better safe then sorry. If Money Line ends up becoming huge, you’ll be glad you got in there before the competition did.

Feels like a scam:

This one comes down to website design. For me, even though I don’t think it is one, Money Line just screams ‘SCAM’. Why is this?

I think it is due to the very amateur feel of the website design and layout. The formatting and images just don’t feel anywhere near as clean as they should. The big writing and vivid colors of green and blue don’t help either.

I just think Money Line could do with investing in a faster and more professional site.

Didn’t give me any results:

While I acknowledged that Money Line MIGHT well work for others, my personal efforts did not result in any revenue. I hardly got any replies to messages, and no new referrals to the service I was using Money Line to promote.

So, for me, I don’t think Money Line is worth spending time on unless you are willing to upgrade to a paid account. But whether this will make a difference or not, I don’t know.

Hard to join:

We ran into this problem when we were trying to create out account; Money Line is very difficult to join unless you follow a few links and find an invite.

Lots of ads:

Any time you login or go to your Money Line, you first need to go through an ad page. These pages are frankly just annoying and look, again, ‘scammy’.

Final thoughts

In conclusion, I think Global Money Line is NOT a scam. They are offering a legitimate product and do not try to take money from you unethically.

However, I think Global Money Line, whilst legit, is NOT worth spending your time on.

If you’re looking to generate leads, there are better ways to do it, such as through creating an email list or using social media within your marketing.

Thanks for the heads up about Global Money Line.
I have not tried it but have lost money on my share of others.

I am so thankful for Wealthy Affiliate and the WA family.
Your recommendation to WA is wise.

Hi! Thank you for sharing with us about Global Money Line. Your review is, unlike Global Money Line, professional and easy to read.
I have been thinking about diving into social media and paid traffic to generate leads for my site. So far, I only rely on traffic from organic search. If Money Line is free, maybe I could try it.
If you know other great tutorials/ways to generate leads, please let me know!

Thanks for the great comment! Social media and paid traffic are definitely legit ways to generate traffic, but organic search is the ideal mode. There’s no harm in trying, but I wouldn’t invest too much of your time in it!
